Get out there, and make it known you're looking to talk.
Don't be a "square" and just DO IT! Just go out and talk.
Talk to enough/scare enough away, eventually you'll find the girl for you.

I've had a recent love affair with Young's Double Chocolate Stout and Fruli Strawberry.

That's chocolate beer and strawberry beer.

I love them because they are both delicious.

Topps, methinks you lack ambition and confidence. You always seem to be worrying about all the negative things that could happen in a situation, and that's probably why a lot of people don't seem to like you, as you claim; no one likes a Debby Downer or a Buzz Killington.

You say you'd like to have a wife... then why aren't you trying to find one and assuming all women automatically hate you? Have you ever thought you might just be going about it the wrong way? What about online dating sites, have you tried that? If you're not good at talking to new people directly like I am, that might work out for you, since then you could communicate over the internet like you do on this forum until you feel like you're ready to meet them in person. Personally, I'd figure online sites would be best for me too, mainly because of the listed reasons I posted, but also because I'm a bit picky when it comes to what kind of women I like - for example, I highly doubt I'm going to find any busty chicks close to my age that are into nerdy stuff in a rural community of less than 8,000 people (and most likely shrinking). There's just too many boundaries I need to overcome first, but at least I can identify with my problems and figure out ways to overcome them, instead of always moping around about them, which doesn't improve your situation at all.
