What will you start with for PS:P2?

I use the 4 other slots as 'storage' characters, 1000 spaces in the common box isn't enough ;;
Especially when you're keeping track of the purchased costumes/parts for the achievement.

Nah, all different elements with a decent percentage.

I constantly change my gear since I like to vary my playing styles from time to time.

Those that I play with on chat knows that I take on different roles depending on the given situation;
whether it be support on a LV180 S-rank mission, being ranged to melee for a quick run.

Sure it involves a lot of gear change, type weapon/ability change which is a pain (since I stick to Braver)
Hence the discussions have been like; there should have been savable palettes, or being able to save gear to that given type x5

Anyway, that's how I like playing. Class abilities matter more for me ;o

BTW, I can at least count on my character being better than a FOcast? From what I figure, class that's not all that great + race that sucks when it come's to the class's most important stat would be bad, right. Please tell me I'll be better than that.

VAnewm > FOcast, definitely. You're range weapons will be better, and not to mention your Force damage will also be much better (with EX-Traps). Apart from RAcast, VA anything is the best option for each class/race.

Already started a long time ago, but currently using a Braver (Vanguard in English?) Newman female. Even without Deband, Hard mode mainly consists of enemies unable to even land damage on you. Deband makes it near impossible to die to anything besides a Nanodragon laser from across the map. Resta isn't really needed, unless you're in a pinch.

@Wayu: Thanks for giving me some hope. I can't deny that I loved HUnewm's EVP back in PSZ, and I'm glad that I'll still have that (at least, I'm assuming it's EVP you're refering to, newmans don't usually have that much defense to be able to be invincible through that).

A VAnewm would have good EVP, I don't know if it's any where near as good as VAmar though, only 2/10 attacks actually hit a high level VAmar.

About Deband, as a Vanguard you can only use level 2 Deband (up to PA level 20). Ranger and Hunters can use level 2 (up to PA level 15), and Force, level 3 (up to PA level 30). PA level doesn't affect the strength of deband unless it hits 11 or 21.

Huh? I thought I read that Vanguard had up to lv. 20 in every PA.

Also, I thougth that Newmans had the highest EVP. That's how it was in PSZ, at least. And also, this sucks for Newman. All they had going for them was MST and EVP. And MST is nearly useless for non-FOs.

EDIT: According to the PSU stat calculator (and PSP2 is based on PSU) Newmans do have better EVP. *Sighs in relief.* So if you only get hit by about 20% of attacks... I'll be getting hit even less. Finally, some good news.
