Let's all remember that this might only apply during the initial phase. After a few rebirths, the only differences might end up being purely appearancewise.

No matter how many times you rebirth, the difference in sexes and races will be kept so even if you rebirth and boost all your stats to the maxes, a different race character who has also rebirthed to the maxe will be better in some attributes or worse in some attributes than you.

In other news, a collaboration with Gainax has been announced on the official site. Aside from the the items from PSP2 (Shinji's Plugsuit, Asuka's Plugsuit, Rei's Plugsuit, Mari's Plugsuit, Mari's Pink Plugsuit, Asuka's Test Suit, Kaoru's Plugsuit, and the Lance of Longinus), there are some more items from Gainax series:



More Eva stuff of course: Shinji's school uniform, Rei's school uniform, and Mari's school unifrom.




A Gurren Lagann suit for male casts.




Gurren Boomerang slicer and Gigadrill claw.

It's a claw. There are already drill shaped knuckles in the game.
