How many of your characters are based off something else?
Just a quick survey per say, Ive not been in the game for sometime and got thinking, oh noes! I myself and my 2 friends kind of "role play" as characters from other games or shows etc, my question is how many of you do? and whos your character and from what?

how i got my name is.
Ryno = Ryan
even some friends in person call me Ryno. lol! becuase it almost sounds like Ryan which is my real name. as you can see under my name onto your left.
All of my characters are original; the names are just names that I took a fancy for. Noland started as Ronald, then not wanting to sound like a burger slinging clown, I changed it to Roland, but then I decided to change the R to an N because I liked the sound of it better. Kayla and Nalleli were names of a couple of girls I knew in high school and I just liked the names: neither of them look anything like my characters. Kailah is just a variant of Kayla that I found interesting since I had never seen it before, and in an interesting twist I actually met someone named Kailah a year after I made the character.
My character SB "Stubborn Bitch" is based off of 2 TV series, Dark Angel and Alias.
Xavier is the name of my IRL godfather.
Katy is the name of my guitar.
Titan is the brand truck I drive. His name was Spongebob Squarepants on the US server.
Just my character Lady Gaga
I guess I took the name "Bijou" from Hamtaro, but I liked the name either way and didn't base my Beast off Bijou from Hamtaro.
The only two I have that are based off something:
Talho: a character from Eureka Seven
Len Kagamine: the second vocaloid in the Vocaloids series.
My characters are my own, but several of my char names have been from external sources (or hybrids thereof):
Mireyuna: a moderation of Mirei Mikuna that I sort of came up with
Jake: none other than Avatar lol
Arkarian: a main character from the Chronicles of Time series
ジニー/Ginevra: FHuman on JP/FCast on US; Ginny from Harry Potter
Megildur: just the elvish word for sword
