I used to be big on PC gaming back in the day. However, I prefer it on a larger screen where I can sit back comfortably and play. Comfy as in for my wrists, lol. I do hope they bring it to Xbox/PS3 alongside PC.

PC is a great idea, I'm glad that was chosen as a platform.

I have high hopes for the game (and even higher expectations of the dev team), hopfully Miyoshi's PSU team is allowed nowhere near it.

Can't wait, I'll play Final Fantasy XIV and Guild Wars 2 until it releases I guess Almost a guaranteed buy unless I hear of something I don't like.

this brings up the bigger question of why blue burst was pc only and not on ps2.
I often wondered that myself. If anything, I was expecting to see PSOBB in xbox360 arcade downloads eventually. Especially since xbox: PSO was one of the few games that AREN'T backwards compatible with 360.

I too prefer to play on a console system. PC gaming kinda turns me off.
But maybe with PSO2 being on PC, Sega can actually have US/EU/JP all together like back on PSO days.
And for me, was one of the many charms PSO had. I HATE breaking up PSO fans by having seperate servers. It feels like you're breaking up my PSO family.

I dont think it's an exaggeration to say this is the best thing that has ever happened.

Thanks for the translations Espio, that's interesting reading

Guys, I'm sure this will eventually be released on 360, and POSSIBLY PS3. I also agree that gaming tends to be better on consoles, but for something like a new PSO, I can see why they chose to go with PC.

When, and if they release it for consoles, I very much hope that all consoles and regions can play together. PSO2 needs the biggest community it can get, and linking everyone together sure would help.

By this I hope they mean NO item synthesis system for weapons! I HATED the item synthesis system in PSU, was a chore, no fun at all. Synthing an item was never as satisfactory as finding one in a rare red box!

I agree: I HATED the synthesis system in PSU and absolutely loved the rare system in PSO!

    Synthesis feels like work.

Finding rares is something that -- with luck! -- happens while you are having fun (hunting monsters).

I totally agree. Hopefully this game, will be as the title suggests, Phantasy Star ONLINE 2, rather than something following in PSU's footsteps.
