I haven't leveled any of my classes that far yet, but you should be able to unlock the "20 B-rank weapon" title at class/type level nine or ten.

Edit: Sorry, I mean 20 B-rank weapons.

That entirely depends on how much you want to spend and how few weapons you want to specialize in. I'm a level 14 Vanguard and if I really wanted to, I could probably use the points to spend on one S rank or two. However, my weapon options would be extremely limited afterwards if not regulated to just those two.

Also, keep in mind that some weapons may cost more to specialize in than others. (i.e. may cost more to use higher ranked wands than it would a saber to a hunter).

It really depends on what you plan on using. The fewer weapons you put points into, the more chances you'll have in using S ranks earlier. (Sorry if I sound like im rambling but it is rather early for me and I have a jacked up sleeping schedule).

Yeah, their quite good for Ranger, not only does it have a 1x cost on Extend Points, the amount of knockdowns (with speed) and damage they can rack up at later levels is good. I say go for it!

I seem to have a problem with spending points on weapons so that I can equip them, see what they look like and try them out, then I go back and remove them. Am I losing any points by doing this, increasing then decreasing the rank? I seem to be getting all of my points back but I am not positive.
