Question about Shields

What do they do? Besides allowing you to block with single hand weapons. It adds ATK and ACC... so I'm confused. Shouldn't it add DEF and EVA?

You can get a perfect block, when you block the instant before an attack hits your character. Scoring a perfect block will reflect damage back at any enemies right in front of you. The damage is based on the ATP of the shield. Shields do have a hidden DEF boost based on the rarity of the shield.

just to elaborate that, they don't add ATK or ACC, it is the shield's ATK and ACC upon a successful perfect block.

and basically the rarity of the shield (in stars) *5 = the DEF boost they give you, however DEF is a rather useless stat in this game

i think there is a shield that adds atk as well, its one of the s shields
