I've only known about PSO2 since about 2p.m. today(thats what happens when you have no internet for a few months), so can someone explain exactly what is going on?
Well, PSO2 got announced, and there was a teaser for it at TGS that was a recap of the relatively-recent Phantasy Star games, and at the end of it, they showed the PSO2 logo for a few seconds.
...And that's it.
ProTip: To damage your credibility, simply call any of the Phantasy Star games "massively-multiplayer."
There are also some development positions announced for a Phantasy Star game. A lot of people seem to think it was related to PSO2.
Beyond that, nothing has been confirmed yet.
Oh. Well, I guess we'll have to wait for more information.
