PSN is now back up. the psn store is not but you can voice chat, message, access friends list, sync trophies, play games online and manage account details.

Try changing your password, it worked for me. The longest part about it was waiting for the e-mail, ironically, not signing in. <.<

If your having problems try signing in after the changed password.The only thing that still down is the PS Store but online gaming and other features are running smoothly.

It's strange that I can't login via us.playstation.com anymore. I wanted to download something.

read they took the site login down because the method to reset passwords was to easy for people to bypass.
as well if your in europe it will take time to get a password change email, didn't read the article but its on joystick's site.

So wait a minute, people were able to get back online by changing their PSN passwords on their PC, and then play online on their PSP. But the password reset site is "under maintenance". So what is the status of things right now?

Are those who changed their passwords, prior to the website going down, still able to play online?

At this very moment, it seems to be working. I haven't tried accessing the store, but I was able to reset my password via PC, and login via my PSP.
