If you already signed up for the newsletter, then it should have already put you into the drawing for the Beta test.

The guide I created was for subscribing to the PSO2 newsletter, so it's a little dated now. If you performed it before though, you should be entered into the Beta drawing already.

As for distinguishing Hiragana from Katakana... You just have to look up the symbols, really. They have charts for them on wikipedia. For addresses, you can just google and search for Japanese business building addresses and such.

It asks me for my SEGA ID, password, and then a katakana captcha to log in. How am I supposed to fill out the captcha? There's a bunch of katakana letters in their alphabet.
