    EVERYTHING looks better in Unreal Engine 4 by default. A lot of Japanese developers are still to stubborn to start using western game engines. I wouldn't be surprised if PSO2 is still running on the PSO1 engine on steroids.

    I'm so happy to see you still host PSA-JAMs! I really should participate in one again, shouldn't I. Maybe when I'm less overloaded with art work.

    It's coming together more and more, though I keep bumping to some very steep walls all the time, so I am taking my sweet time to overcome them. The most mundane game features seem to be the hardest to actually get to work. Cool gameplay mechanics can be relatively easy compared to say, popping up some damage numbers on screen when hitting an enemy. I am already pretty happy at how far I have come. I only intended to make a simple jump and run game at first, but somehow it is starting to morph into an action RPG ! The art part is getting a slight back seat right now, because I first want to lay down a good framework, so I know what kind of assets I actually should make.

    Nice stuff there yo, and good luck with the game. I see some interesting concept arts.

    And about Japanese devs and UE, you are totally right about it. Fortunately Squareenix finally understood it and ditched their Cry Engine and started all their recent IPs using UE now.
    Busy doing nothing...
