    Default PA list for Guntecher

    I've been thinking of levelling GT on my Cast since AF is getting boring.

    Never played one so I'm not sure which 36 PAs I should have on my GT. I'm lazy so I don't want to switch things in and out =p

    So far, my tentative list is:

    Infinite Storm with Saber PA Level+ for bosses

    6 Twin Handgun PAs
    6 Crossbow PAs
    6 Laser PAs

    4 Buffs

    Megid for Robots
    Giresta
    Resta
    Reverser
    Zalure
    Rentis
    Dizas

    That's 30 so far. Megid and/or Infinite Storm I don't mind switching for Rising Strike/Spinning Strike on missions with bullet resistant enemies, pretty sure that will do more DPS than LB Nos-techs on a Cast.

    Any suggestions on what to change or what to add for the last 6? Right now my 2 biggest candidates are Shotgun PAs or Longbow PAs, but it seems like a tough choice because Shotguns and Crossbows are similar (close range single target), and Longbows and Twin Handguns are similar (long range single target).

    IMHO you NEED all 6 shotgun PA's. It's your strongest weapon... I think its best that you have 6 Longbow/Shotgun/Laser/Machinegun PA's, but thats just me. =) Bows have level 5 status effects at 41 and I think are more useful than Twin Handguns. And shotguns are your best bet for bosses too, but as you said bring a saber fot bullet resistant enemies.

    Diga for Mother Fakis?

    Personally I rate the card higher than the crossbow, simply for its homing effect. GT is the best card user in the game, so I think it's a fitting use of a few PA slots.

    For my GT I'd use:

    Tornoobo Dance for transport & bosses
    Hikai Shuha-Zan for bosses +2 +element

    6x card +2 +element
    7x bow +2 +element (Maisei-sou works wonders in GAM against big scary dudes)
    7x Twingun +2 +element (twin penny)
    6x Shotgun +2 +element

    4x buff
    Resta
    Giresta
    (Dizas)
    (Rentis)

    If you use a SE enchant rather than the HP affects power or Elemental attack styles, consider Twin Penetration, Chousei-Sou, Mayalee Prism and Nagrants, none of which have status effects. Twin Penny Enchant Incap is a nice combo, especially for characters who'd get more kills by lucky shots than by damage (coughNewmanAcrotechercough).

    I don't have Dizas or Rentis yet, for now I'd use Diga for MotherFakis and Megid for bots. Megid is pretty much a must if you don't abuse incap enchant. I'd drop reverser for sol atomizers; people without resists are begging to throw away scape dolls anyway.

    I personally have:

    All shotgun, bow, crossbow, and machinegun = 24

    All buffs, and heals except reverser = 8

    Tornado Dance and Spiral Dance = 2

    Sometimes I switch Spiral Dance with a Dagger skill (Shunbou) or a Laser PA (Whichever is useful for mission)


    we need a PA cap boost. Because clearly GT has PA problems. Granted, I'm a Beast, so I dont use techs, but they can be useful. And I also can't carry around all Lasers and Twin Handguns. I try to keep Reverser out because Sol Atomonizers do the same thing, but I shouldnt have to result to that.

    Looks like I have quite a few new weapons to consider

    I'll definitely be levelling Longbows now, and probably drop Twin Handguns for either Shotguns or Machineguns. Not worried about Cards since I have a spare set of lv11 Card PAs already.
