    (Cue this) :
    Spoiler!

"Adam", Dash tried to communicate to the pilot, attempting to suppress his grief, "The AMF is not going to attack the city. We're in the green. Me and Sare are heading back to TF642 headquarters. You wanna come along?"

"...You guys go. I'm taking Neil along with me back to my hangar. He needs to go dark for now, since this incident left him in a bit of a trauma. Call me if you need my help, okay Dash?"

"...Okay. Be careful. Don't forget to visit us." Dash ended the call there.

"GRM operations? This is pilot Zerran. Mission was completed thanks to a cooperative effort of Little Wing's Mercenaries, the Guardians, and the AMF. Sasha Marr was not captured or killed, but she is currently in the custody of the AMF. Sorry."

"Pilot Zerran, this is operator Terriman. Good work, Adam. I'm really proud of you. And I bet the president will be really proud too. And it's okay that you didn't capture Sasha, as long as someone did. I'll try to ask the head of the Transactions and Meseta Registrations to pay you at least 400,000 meseta for your efforts."

"Right. Thanks, Zina. You know, for a former Communion member, you're pretty good at handling GRM technology."

"Hah. Thanks. I had some computer training from a college program funded by the Communion, after all. Now come home. I need your help in something."

"Well, whatever it is, I'll work for free just for you."

The pilot ended the call, and after calling Neil on codec (which the pilot also received as a high-class mercenary from GRM) and discussing things with him, the Master-Sargent agreed to come along with Adam to his secret hangar bay, and remain there until when Neil would think the time is right.

The pilot, still inside his CSM, gently scooped up Neil with a free hand. Adam piloted Glaidor back to the said hangar bay, with Neil, looking off to the distance.

"If the AMF will ever bloody change...then maybe I'll come back. For now...I have no choice but to go dark."

    "...Forgive me, Commander Curtz."

    -End interlude of Zerran.

(Thank you for a wonderful [if a little troubling] role play.)

I looked at Sasha, who was busy chatting with her.....family. It didn't look like they were all blood related, but they were close none the less. I nodded happily to myself, then realized I was leaking oil. I quietly displaced myself from the others, leaving an oil trail, and patched myself up.

"Seems like things will get better from here....at least, I hope so." I said, looking around, rifle in my right hand. I walked out from my hiding spot and surveyed the area, nodding to myself. After a moment of thought, I jogged over to Sasha and her friends, and started working out a sweep and clear plan.

I was still a bit tore up, but there was still so much work to do, before we were really finished.

(Of course, Zerran. Despite the misunderstandings, it was a pleasure. *salutes*)

    Sasha's (and Kory's) Epilogue:

"My cause was righteous. My cause was just. My cause was the only way to restore the Gurhal system to its former glory... or so I thought. Those who I punished for standing against the Neo Illuminus... they had every reason to defy me. They trusted the true heroes of the universe, heroes that dedicated their lives to creating a more prosperous universe for everyone, not just Humans. Now that I think about it... they saved the Illuminus too when they defeated the Dark God. We had another chance at becoming a truly righteous organization after ridding Howzer's corruption from our ranks, but we squandered it when we decided to harness the SEED and persist in our violent racism. Now I strive to atone for everything I had done and everything I failed to do that I should have. This could be something I may never achieve in my lifetime, but I will do everything in my power to protect the Gurhal system from those who threaten it, including those with visions that may seem well-intentioned but, in reality, demand slaughter and oppression."

Sasha had just returned to Clyez City from Parum. She was accompanied by two guards and her younger brother on her way to the Guardians headquarters. The setting seemed unusually peaceful. Everyone was going about their daily lives and paying little attention to the woman being escorted by two guards. Although a few curious folk watched her, nobody seemed to be aware of why she was there. "I was imagining a crowd of people screaming at me," Sasha thought, her expectations upset, "but I guess things change. They probably don't even know who I am, let alone the horrible things I've been a part of."

Meanwhile, Kory was haunted by thoughts of his own. "My performance was disappointing in that mission. I should be able to do better than that! I've got a lot of work to do before the next mission. But for now, I'm just glad my sister's finally home. She finally understands how corrupt the Illuminus truly are... Maybe we could train together. After all, there's no better training than fighting someone who can beat you in less than a minute. But would she have time to train? Knowing her, she might be going on missions nonstop for the next month."

Sasha, Kory, and the guards made their way to the front desk of the Guardians headquarters where Sasha encountered Mina for the first time in a while. Mina did not recognize Sasha at first, but one she did, her jaw dropped in surprise.

"I am Sasha Marr, a former lieutenant of the Neo Illuminus. I believe I have an appointment here to discuss my return to the Guardians."

    Epilogue: Enforcer MKV

I sighed as I stepped off the VTOL. "For someone who doesn't agree with the AMF, I sure find myself working with or for them a lot." I thought to myself as I looked around the base.

Two months had passed since the New Rozenom Incident. Some...interesting events had happened since then. I slid my helmet off, revealing a human head that hadn't been there two months prior, and looked at my helm. It was roughly a month old, like the rest of my armor. I quickly slid it back over my head and the helm clicked, sealing itself. I walked to the barracks and stepped inside. A female cast with a very gaudy black outfit was standing behind a table. I saluted her. "Commander Juniper, " I said with a nod.

"At ease, Chief Gunnery Sergeant." She said, looking me in the eyes. The glint almost seemed...familiar. "Now, it's come to my attention that you're a very.....capable soldier. I was curious how much so?"

My shoulders slumped, "Ma'am, wouldn't reading my dossier be easier? It's very possible I could embellish my own exploits..."

She smiled, her purple eyes almost laughing at me, "My....How...honest. Well, I know you won't do that. I've been watching you for a while, you see. I've taken an...'interest' in you." She said, as she walked around the table. She stood about a head shorter than I did.

"Oh, Light, don't tell me she means that in a non-work related sense." I thought, frowning behind my helm. I shifted uncomfortably. "Ma'am...I uh....have to re-sight my rifle soon.." I said, trying to avoid something that could get me in a lot of trouble.

She frowned. "No you don't. I'm not stupid, you know." She put her hands on her hips. "Come on, at least get to know me!"

"Oh, Maiden's blessing. You DO mean romantically..." I mumbled, backing up towards the door.

I ran out of the barracks, leaving Juniper just a wee bit upset. "You! You! You inconsiderable asshole! Don't think I'm giving up! I know how kind you are!"

I heaved a sigh as I stopped. That wasn't what I was expecting. I pulled off my helmet and ran a hand through my short brown hair....and called Altis.

"Hey, Altis, you want to come over to my bar a little later and have a drink? I think I could use one, and it's always more fun with more people."

Things were really peaceful right now. I liked it.

    Spoiler!

Also: I'll give you a heads-up: This gets a bit bloody.

Altis calmly walked into a nearby building. It was short, compared to the buildings nearby, but still relatively tall. He brandished the spear, sinking into a combat stance, as the Neo Illuminus soldiers who had refused to surrender drew their rifles and took aim.

They opened fire. The newman rolled to one side, taking cover behind a reception counter. Their gunfire kept him pinned down. He closed his eyes and focused, determining by sound the locations of his assailants. His eyes snapped open, and he lept over the counter, dashing to his right. A few bullets hit, but Altis kept moving, undeterred. With a single thrust of his spear, one soldier was impaled halfway down the lenght of the spear. Altis shoved him to the ground and ripped his spear out, creating a shower of blood that rained down over him. The terrorists stumbled back, stunned by the violent display. Taking a moment to himself as well, Altis clutched his left hand to his chest and muttered, "Forgive me, my friends, for my sinful indulgence..."

As soon as the Neo Illuminus soldiers recovered, they resumed firing. Altis didn't miss a beat. He rushed the next nearest soldier, ducking low, and cut the man's legs out from under him. A quick sprint to the next soldier ended with the rear end of Altis's spear in the human's face, along with the cracking of bone. A third soldier fell to a thrown spear. The fourth, having run out of energy in his machine gun, drew a pistol and fired at the newman as he turned. Altis dropped to the ground.

The soldier inched up, handgun pointed at the fallen newman. Assuming him dead, the soldier lowered his gun. Altis shot up and tackled the man, slamming him into the wall. As the human slumped to the floor, Altis grabbed his spear and proceeded up the stiarwell, cutting down the soldiers that dared to stand in his way.

OOC: Music for part 2 of the post:
    Spoiler!

Altis calmly walked into the fifth, and the top floor of the building. Directly across from him stood a strongly-bulit human with a large sword, with a rifleman on either side of him.

"I assume you're the one who is in charge, now that Sasha's left you," Altis said, his voice devoid of emotion.

"Yes. And after I am finished with you, I will kill that traitorous bitch," the man replied, contempt in his voice, "Of course, I don't have time to fight you." He nodded to one of his men, who pulled out a detonator and activated it.

Altis, heard several beeps and looked down, only to see several Burn Trap EX's imbedded into the floor. They all roared to life at once, creating several large and continuous explosions, the newman warrior caught in the middle of them all.

"Worthless newman. And he calls himself a warrior."

Two daggers flew out of the flames left by the blasts, each landing square in the chest of one of the guards, before the blades melted away. From the flames walked Altis once more. His clothes were ragged and burned, and his line shield was offline, but Altis was still standing. After a few steps, he rushed forwards at top speed, attempting to impale the Neo Illuminus commander. A wall of glowing hexagons stopped the blade about six inches from its target, sparks flying from where the spear met the line shield. Altis stumbled back a few feet, having lost his balance in the attack. The human hefted his sword up with one hand, rushed Altis, and took a sweeping horizontal swing. Altis backflipped, jumping both over the blade and out of its way. Rushing back in, he threw three quick stabs, all of which were parried. As the human swung his blade overhead, Altis spun to the side and attempted to slash the man below the ribs, although this too was blocked by his line shield.

Altis lept back, narrowly avoiding being elbowed in the face. Rushing back in, he threw a fake overhead slash. Falling for the feint, the human raished his sword to block. Altis quickly pulled his spear back before the impact and stabbed for the man's midsection. The newman felt a bit of give under the force of his strike, a sighn that his opponent's line shield was weakening. However, he had no time to push this opportunity, as he had to leap back to avoid the man's sword.

The human, angered, went on the offensive. Rushing Altis, he trough three sweeping slashes. Altis backstepped the first one and ducked the second. When the man threw the third one, Altis was more or less backed against the wall. Not missing a beat, he backflipped onto the wall, kicked off it, and flipped over in midair, bringing his spear's blade down on his opponent's head, providing momentum for him to land behind his foe, whose line shield was now badly damaged. Now absolutely enraged, the man attempted to bring his sword down on Altis's head, an attack easily sidestepped, although this attack did smash a hole in the floor, sending Altis plummitting to the next floor down.

The pain was nearly crippling. However, Altis still mustered the strenght to roll out of the way as the man lep down, blade tip first, onto where he was just laying. Getting back up, though breathing heavily, Altis charged. He stabbed relentlessly at the man, focring him to back up with every block. However, the human ran into a suppor beam along one of the glass walls. Altis took this chance and threw a powerful thrust with his spear. His spear slowly broke through the man's line shield, the tips of its blades burning into the man's flesh. Altis forcefully pulled the blade out, causing the shield to completely shatter. Exhasted, the human looked up at Altis, unable to stand and slumped on the floor.

"What now?" he sneered, "Are you going to try and re-"

"They may show their foes mercy, but I do not," Altis replied, his spear sticking out of his now mortally wounded opponent. Calmly, Altis drew the blade out and picked up his opponent over his shoulder, before throwing his opponent out the fourth story window. "How unsatisfying," Altis sighed.

    OOC: Part 3 music:
    Spoiler!

    2 Months Later

Altis was alone, barely visible in the dark of night. The stars were shining in the clear Neudaiz sky. The grassy hill on which he stood was lined by four graves. One in particular had a boquet of flowers on it. The newman was unarmed, with his line shield deactivated, and was kneeling before the graves in a deep state of meditation. Slowly coming out of it, he stood up and continued to stare at the graves for several minutes. Much to his chagrin, his communicator buzzed, although it was set to a soft series of tones.

"Who is this?" Altis asked, annoyed.

"Hey, Altis, you want to come over to my bar a little later and have a drink? I think I could use one, and it's always more fun with more people," the voice replied.

"Oh. It's you," Altis said, his voice lightening a bit, "Sure. I'll see if I can catch a midnight flyer off Neudaiz. Just don't leave me there with a hangover like you did last time."

Hanging up, Altis began to walk away. Turning his head over his shoulder to look at the graves once more, he said, "I'm sorry for what I've had to do... And it's all my fault that you died that day... You were my family... I'm nothing without you all... Unfortunately, my life doesn't end just yet... A-All I ask... All I ask is that you forgive me for my sins." He stood still for a moment, as if expecting an answer he knew wouldn't come, before he departed towards the city.

OOC: Just sit and listen to the rest of the third tune now.
