Guntecher advice

So I pretty much have no experience with guntecher or any techer class for that matter. So, I am in need of some advice for guntecher. And with the most recent update that brings about even more questions about what techs I need to use and what will put out the most damage/most effective.

Pretty much my question is what techs I should use, and I'm not sure bout cards and crossbows. I like all the different gun options guntecher has. I have all elemental rifle, shottys, twin handguns, and crossbow PAs. But then there are the cards, and all the techs. I have all the buffs. Giresta.

And yes, another redundant thread probably and I apologize but since there are new LBs for guntechers I am not sure what to start leveling, except the PAs for the guns lol. I have been playing FM and FF for a lot of my PSU gaming.


Thanks for any input. I pretty much know about some of the PAs I obviously need but I need some help from others to decide which route to take.

I would go with just ra- techs and maybe megid and samegid. Megid would be better than killer shot since GT can't use frozen shooter or snow queen. Samegid for stuff you can't burn while still attacking with the proper element instead of spamming virus bullets. LB Ra- techs would work much like a grenade, but you also need to get it to 31+ so it can hit 5 targets. If I remember correctly LB razonde can hit dimma/onma in the air, so it would be better than twins or waiting for them to go down and using xbow/shotgun.

Ok. What all techs should I use then. Not the dams- but what about the gi-, nos-, and other? Rifles or bows? With the black rebellion just out I'd like to use that. I've been reading up on other topics but with new updates just want to see if things are still the same.

I say the crossbow for better multiple hit target & wand for Gresta with a card toss cuz u can move hit/cast and for power hits I say the bow with the lavis arrow cuz the bow have 20% pa attack boost. but like the Riffle are ok but wont get one.

on the xbox 360 guntecher are not so hot of a class. But the guntecher at the class at lv.20 on the jp server there great gun/support with good decent stat with high % damage for there bows I say guntecher ftw

Some kind of dagger or Saber PA (haven't decided on this yet)
Tornado Dance for travel

Bullets PAs:
Crossbow x6 (taken to lvl50)
Laser Cannon x6
Longbow x6



Techs:
Gi-techs x4 (for when enemies are all around you)
Ra-techs x5 (for the LB's)
Megistar
Sabarta
Samegid
Diga
Foie
Megid
Resta

My pallete setup would be

Double Saber (travel)
Crossbow w/ Wand (gi-tech with matched element tech)
Crossbow w/ Wand (gi-tech with matched element tech)
Madogg (Buffs/Resta) w/ Wand (Sabarta/Samegid)
Longbow
Laser Cannon

In case you only need one Crossbow/ Wand combo:
Shadogg w/ high lvl Burn or Stun w/ Saber or Dagger

Good stuff. Thanks man. Let's do some runs soon. Been a while. I like that set up too. If only I could get a Shijin set. Still can't figure it out. I have done over 200 C runs of Door to Subspace and done some runs on A. Need to read over the manual again I suppose. Really ticking me off. And yes I know it's something obvious I'm doing wrong. lol. Frustrating the crap out of me.

No. I only talk to Maya at the beginning, where I usually click the 2nd option. I just realized I haven't put data in the thing on the right b4 each block. Heck if I know. I have sets of the swords ready to go. But no scales, still.
