I started charging 80% the original cost of weps in my store (I used to just make it the lowest) is this a fair pricing method cause it seems to have random effects on lowering and raising the previous prices.

Being the cheapest is how you sell things, always been that way. The new owner doesn't care what you paid and neither should you - assume everything will become worthless (often the case anyway).

I don't mean the price I bought it for, but I will keep this in mind. (what I discovered was that the NPC stores will buy any item at 20% the price they were selling it at so I just figured that out on all my weapons and got the results.)

Yeah the NPC shops are a bad idea for most things until you get to a high level and start getting lots of A rank weapons you have absolutely no use for. A lot of them sell for NPC prices in your player shop, so spending the time listing them is a waste.
