You won't be able to play it online but the demo should still be available on the PSN Store. You can also get if from the official site.

JP PSN is set up a bit differently than US and EU, but either method works.

ubberly agree,took me time to understand the japanese psn & once i figured it out i could understand the basic text for some things in it.

I get to Phantasy Star Portable two....then theres DLC for it and buying the game no Infinity

It may be quicker to just press the big red button on the site I linked to above and then copying it over to your PSP.
