Image authentication

You could probably already tell, but I'm still sort of new here.
Anyways, I have no idea how to get past the image authentication. I don't know Japanese at all.
I also kind of need the whole GC thing explained to me.

Is this in game? I vaguely remember the image authentication. Anyway, there's a sticky somewhere around on these forums that has a great Beginner's Guide. It will teach you how to install a JP IME onto your PC.
