The shooting mag or the skill/ability mag? (for rangers that is >w<)
From the info I have read over these forums and found on other sites, the skill/ability mag would be really good for multi-class players. If you plan to just stick to 1 class you should get the corresponding mag. (Ex. You are ranger class forever, get the Shooting mag, If you mutli-class get the skill/ability mag). Class corresponding mags give you bonuses based on their requirements (ex. Shooting mag can give you stat bonuses of ranged damage and ranged damage defense, or ranged damage and ability stats). The skill/ability mag is one stat mainly and people say that stat effect min/max dmg and crit %.

You only get 1 free character, any more you have to pay for from what I read.

Yes, but I hear you can delete your only character and get another free one. Obviously mag farming will be a bit annoying at lv5 grinding but if it can be done, then there's some use for it.

Mags are not even considered an item in this game, they take up no space in your inventory, they have their own section in the menu so you can't deposit mags into your bank to get more then delete a character and repeat... sucks I know

Raising a mag that is high lvl in one stat will be incredibly hard if the pattern i pointed out is right.

    Device = 1000 pts
1 device takes you to lvl 10
2 devices from there takes you to lvl 20
3 devices from there takes you to lvl 30
4 devices from there takes you to lvl 40
5 devices from there takes you to lvl 50
6 devices from there takes you to lvl 60
7 devices from there takes you to lvl 70
8 devices from there takes you to lvl 80
9 devices from there takes you to lvl 90
10 devices from there takes you to lvl 100
11 devices from there takes you to lvl 110
12 devices from there takes you to lvl 120
13 devices from there takes you to lvl 130
14 devices from there takes you to lvl 140
15 devices from there takes you to lvl 150
16 devices from there takes you to lvl 160
17 devices from there takes you to lvl 170
18 devices from there takes you to lvl 180
19 devices from there takes you to lvl 190
20 devices from there takes you to lvl 200

That 210 devices to get to max level and that is the most potent food device we know of currently

So based on current food knowledge, the only pure/surefire way to get the skill mag is to strictly feed it room items?
