Give it a year or two, they'll probably drop a lot more commonly and you'll probably be able to exchange them for 5 excubes.

Don't know man, the drops for the stones to make Atlas weapons didn't get better with time. Only reason people have more than 1 is because they giving them away now

Finally finished my collection of these, still need to do something for affixes though. Special no thanks to Persona for not dropping any of these in 700+ attempts.
