Error 602 when logging on

Hi I made a Sega ID back when the beta started, I couldn't navigate the instructions very well but it looks like I was able to create a account with the translation guide. I wasn't able to log on and PSO2 during the beta and didn't have time to mess with it back then. Recently I tried to create another account and play with the english translation patch but I am still having logon issues. I get the following message, it is translated with google translate.

"I failed to authenticate the SEGA ID.
On the check or password SEGA ID,
Please try again and then reconnect it.
[No.602]"

If I try and enter the wrong username I get

"Use] [Error unregistered
This ID register is not yet available
From "Change User Information" menu login
Please register to use this game.
[No.678]"

I must be using the right credentials, this happens with both the old account I created and the new one I made yesterday. I can't logon to the sega account page because I can't enter Japanese letters for the image verification at logon.

Any help would be appreciated, really want to play the new PSO.

try to type login and pass in lower case only
like "smith" instead of "Smith"

I used all lowercase letters, and it still gives me the same error.

Did you input the password in lower case as well? I am asking because the password is actually case sensitive, so you should type in your password the way you made it.
