Not 100% sure about all of them, maybe some other parts break give you other things (wondered about Ray units being tied to Anga bits). I just know those won't drop if you don't break anything.

Ship 4 is the most populated, dunno about the rest, though in terms of Foreigners, Ship 2 takes the cake.

Does that mean Ship 2 has more of the English community or does Ship 4?
Ship 2 has the most english speaking players, but it has one of the lowest populations overall.
Which would be a better choice to go with then, gameplay wise?
Depend on how frequent you want to play with the other that you can speak with.
Pick 2 if you want more gaijin encounter.
