What are the popular classes that uses ET as a sub? Is ET perfectly fine just using it by itself since no sub for successor? or do you get more out of it if you use it as a secondary to a Normal Primary? I noticed with Phantom alot of players using BR/PH instead of just straight up PH.

The use of a main class is mostly due to the weapons available and the playstyle of the class. For example if you want to play Bullet Bow you have to be BR/x (unless some new meta has emerged now that -NT extending is a thing). Similarily if you like acting like a turret that fires magic spells, FO/x is probably the "go to" option.

ET is fine by itself. Using ET as a subclass is mostly effective on x/HU builds which had HU as sub for the added survivability (for example RA/HU -> RA/ET). Though any build can work, some builds have greater synergy and potential than others. A more experienced player should be able to point to those builds.

Ra, Hu, Fi, and maybe Su are the classes that go well with sub Et. Br might also work well, but I haven't tried it so I'm not sure. Successor classes were specifically designed to not have subclasses, so they're fine without them. Usually when you choose a subclass it's for the utility. Playing Ph isn't the same as playing Br/Ph. People play Br/Ph because they like Br and Ph is a good subclass for it, not because Ph is better as a subclass than a main class. If you were to compare Br/Ph to anything it would be other Br/X combinations usually.

TE/ET is a fantastic unkillable thing too.
DPS is not as good as TE/PH but still very viable.

Phaleg in Phanatical Phantoms is tankable as Te/Fo as well (I did it about 2 weeks ago). The best part is that healing from Anti, from Mag and from Photon Blast does not fail the objective. The tactic I used is to intentionally let her hit me so that I get burned, and then Anti for healing. Definitely the easiest stage.

She was hitting for 8-35 dmg. No healing was ever needed. That's what I mean.

You wouldn't get access to any Dual Blade PAs with that combo since successor-as-subclass do not follow the same rule of letting you use their PAs.
