the game supports directinput gamepads and you can setup face faceplates for buttons just be sure to calibrate in game the gamepad itself

This i know of, but i kinda have a problem with my gamepad, the thumbsticks are kinda broken and they're pretty sensitive and they move on their own occasionally. I'm asking about using x360ce because i wanna set the deadzone of my gamepads which aren't configurable in game.
there shouldn't be a problem, just drop the preconfigured ini and dll and it should work, if you are worried about stuff injecting, people inject worse stuff and get no bans or anything, at worst you will see an gameguard error

I deleted the proxy plugin only as someone suggested it. That actually fixed my issue. Thank you.
