As RaHu you won't be able to do proper damage with melee weapons anyway. So if you need a weapon for mobbing - use gunslash, it's quick and realiable.
Launcher does a much better job at mobbing even you spam nothing but divine zero. Plus a more reliable access to WB because bullet save.

Does anyone know if returning to campship whenever you die helps improve chances for a rank in mining base eq's?
If you mean the end of mission S, A, B, C rank, then, no, you actually get a penalty to that for returning to campship. If you mean the player ranking (1-12), then more than likely not, as it can take longer to go back into the campship then get back down than just waiting for a revival, and either way, you are missing out on kills.
If one uses a weapon that grants access to a PA or Technique, and the PA/tech is one that is not shared by either class (Main Class or Subclass); Is the strength of the PA/Tech granted by the weapon that matching your disk level? Or is the PA restricted to Level 1?
