I also didn't proc IronWill 5 times in a row with Lv10 once.

I was asking out of curiosity because I tested it and out of the 50 deaths I had,I died 32 times.

I'll assume thats just RNG being a douche then ._.

It is EP4. I was late on story mode as well and completed it just a few days ago.

For Mother, nope. It just helps determine the amount of grind boost that you get afterward.
For [Loser], kinda, in that you get a boost for the [Loser] run, but not during the Apostles, and you also need to kill four Apostles to get a full boost for [Loser].
For [PD], nope. It just determines when you get the ARKS Boost to HP/PP/Recovery.
For [Elder], it just determines whether or not you go on to Phase 2.
And for Magatsu, I believe it just makes sure you get Phase 2 and the boost.

So basically, the only timer that actually gives you something as it goes up, rather than after, is for [PD].
