I wanted to know this in forever thanks. Though I have to disagree on zonde type 0 as it roots the player and you can get killed vs very mobile bosses weak to lightning (looking at you cougar and knight gear).

Why would you zonde 0 against them in the first place when cougar / KG have so little hp that even off element techs work better Also, Charge escape precasts.

It should still be based on area unlocks, which have changed to the following:

Nab Beginner unlocks with Ruins Free Field (FF)
Nab Advance unlocks with Tundra FF
Amduscia unlocks with Skyscape FF
Sanctum unlocks with Sanctum FF
Liillipa unlocks with Tunnels FF
Vopar unlocks with Seabed FF
Harkotan unlocks with Kuron FF
Darkers Den unlocks with Ruins, Quarry, and Kuron FF
Tokyo unlocks with Tokyo FF (clear Ep4 Ch1)
