Bonus Quests likely have some other form of scaling outside the base exp that they give, since the higher level you are, the more EXP you get, despite it always being normal difficulty.

Guess I'll have to do a reverse math next time I go in for a bonus quest.

When playing gunslash, how do you effectively mob? Also, I'm having trouble closing the gap and getting up close since Regenschlag dashes backwards after it's done. Any tips on those two?

Hi,hopefully this advice helps you.

Kreisenschlag and crafted Tri-impact are your bread and butter mobbing PAs.
Kreisen very easily hits heads,tri impact is wide frontal AoE and gives good damage.

Reganschlag is a bit iffy. If I'm doing aerial combat,i'll use Reganschlag then as I kick off the enemy,immediately use strezwei. regardless of gunslash form,a JA off the kick from Reganschlag should always proc melee strezwei,which is another great gap closer and has incredible damage.
Reganschlag is also best for travelling,but if you're in melee mode and something is close enough to use,strezwei is much better, It moves faster,has a harder hitting melee,but requires the slash you create when you backflip with the gunslash actually hit the enemy before you'll zoom in on them and deliver a good few smacks.

Kreisenschlag for groups of enemies as you can easily hit their heads.
Tri-impact as a follow up PA for TAJA bonus if subbing Fi,or for hitting non-weakpoints.
Additional bullet works too,but this depends on your atk type. If you've stacked both S and R-atk onto the GS,this is a fine PA to use,however kreisenschlag uses both slashes and shots,which makes it slightly more superior.
Thrillersplode is another good PA,but its also something I like using as a followup PA to kreisen or Tri-impact. Its AoE range can also headshot,and it has iframes during the backward roll.

This was super helpful. I had no idea that Reganschlag was ranged, and after testing it out it totally decimates mobs. Thanks so much!

Before: 7,552,953 EXP
After Mob: 7,384,267 EXP
After Tagami Kazuchi: 5,978,220 EXP

Results:
Trash Mob: 168,686 EXP
Tagami Kazuchi: 1,406,047 EXP

1 406 047 * 100 / (15 + 150 + 125 + 50 + 50 + 4) = 356 865

So with my Ra at Lv 79, Tagami Kazuchi gave before boost 356 865 EXP, an increase of 109.92% from it's regular field encounter.

Hi, so in my rush to finish the matterboards before they disappear... I'm left with 1-11 unfinished.
I just need the rare variant of De Malmoth (Dal Malri), I've done 'Subdue De Malmoth' on SH over 50 times now and not a single rare variant has popped up so I figured it's either complete RNG and I just have to be more patient or I'm doing it wrong?
Is there any way to get one easier?

(casino doesn't have the trigger currently btw and doesn't reset til May)

The featured quest Winged Border Breaker has a guaranteed spawn as well, it's up right now until daily reset time in the morning and should rotate back in every four days or so.

1. That's with RDR+250%, Triboost 100%, Party boost 40%, Daily Boost 50%, Karaage 10%, Team buff 10%, and RDR from campship drink too.

Max I have gotten from any EQ is from Mother, which was 2. It happened once only, and with the same buffs as above (maybe not the rdr from drink)

Pretty sure I've gotten 2 from the normal dragon and 2 from Mother once already, its usually just 1 though. Haven't gotten 2 from the rematch yet.

I haven't heard of anyone getting more than 2 from anything.

Got 2 from Dragon re-match twice and 2 from Mom once...with rdb, 2018 donuts and daily tri 50 (almost forgot timed abilities: I have rdb3 for omega and rdb5 for earth).

Ran eqs sometimes with way more buffs (add party boost, Karaage, Umbla stick and tri 125/150) and got jack shit.

Very final thought: All my valuable drops I got lately (14* camos, Nemesis, Slave, weila rear/arm and 2 14*) where when I ran "minimal" buffs (rdb donuts timed). The last tri 150 I've got from sg exchange was the very last I will ever use unless campaign rewards. I stop wasting my sg on tri 125 too. Those additional boosts just seems to work against me
