Default Possible to disable native gamepad functionality?

I'm sure this seems like a strange question, but I've got a reason for wanting to do this. I'm not all that impressed with the default controller setup for the game, so I've been putting together something more versatile using the xpadder program. The problem is, I can't find any way to disable the native controller functionality, so it's interfering with my custom xpadder setup. It also doesn't appear to let you "delete/clear" the gamepad keys, so that's not an option either.

Is there anyway to disable the gamepad in-game, or am I out of luck? Thanks in advance for any help.

press the key that is already bound to the action when changing buttons aka if you have X bound to PA, click change and press X and it will clear the key
you can clear out that way all but stick/camera movement

Ha! It figures it would be something so simple. I didn't even think to try that. I feel like a complete moron .

Thanks a ton for the info .
