    Coding it into the game as an object separated from the system , is easy; I just copied the main control codes from the first ship. But what's really hard, is actually to include it into the game system, especially enemies and bullets behavior; a lot needs to be updated, like first checking what game mode it is, arcade or story, and then check if there is 2 ships or just one, and if it's just one, check which of the two. All this before doing anything.
    It's mainly my fault that it's such a hassle, because, even if I planed it, I totally forgot about a 2nd ship when I was working on the game.

    Thats why I am not even gonna bother with multiplayer for my game. I just know the way I build it, its gonna be a freakin pain in the butt. Local multiplayer: MAYBE. Internet multiplayer: HELL NO! I did apply object orientation in most of the important places, but still I probably fucked up a lot of stuff in my early days of development

    Hahah I totally got you here, because I'm a proud member of the "No Online Multiplayer" club as well.
    As for local multiplayer, it's a must in my game since it's an arcade style. And it's not that complicated, just a lot of work since I'll have to duplicate a lot of lines of codes and modify them to work on the 2nd ship.

    Working on a ranking system, which doesn't seem that easy for me and for my sucktitude in coding lol. So maybe I'll just give up on it for the moment and resume polishing the first level .
