That's one advantage I have with music. If I need to improve on something, I can just practice that on its own and redo it over and over until it's at a place that I like. If you tried that with art, I can only assume you get this mushy mess.
Yep been doing that for art. Recently I was practicing some semi realistic face paintings, that's why I did that mouths study.
More lips than your notebook has room for. It is interesting to see something outside of the post apocalyptic genre though. I think the lips themselves are fine, though i'd like to see how the face looks like if you raised them a smidge closer to the nose.
Thanks a lot. I'm planing to make some portrait style painting soon and may give it a try, I'm just still lazying through the first days of my vacation
