error [no. 107]

I played 1 day and got this error the other.
I can;t even get to the launcher screen it simply throws this error after thinking for a wile with a small centerized picture displayed.

Anything known about it?
I tried reinstalling...not helping.

I am using the japanese versopn no english patches.

I fear my ip is blocked...though I dun get to the login screen so I don;t know if it relates to it.

it seems the downloader from teh site downloads pso2 setup which is 2.71 mb....doesn;t seem right...
When I try to isntall it the first time and launch the launcher it tries to update (still only the blue bar, it doens;t run the launcher window)
And then after a sec it says it's done updating....but the game is 14 mb!
Then it relaunches itself and gives me the 107 error which displays in an empty window no description just the number

I got my sis' folder which already had the tweaker and updated through it.
It works.

I don;t like doing that, I may reinstall it using your advice.

This bites, I spent the better part of 2 days getting this game to work !
Now in order to fix an error I'm gonna have to reinstall all over again ?
FUCK THAT SHIT !

I'm not spending 36 hours all over again to have it happen again tomorrow !
REINSTALL is NOT a FUCKING fix it is a stop gap measure since no one really knows what is wrong !

Well sort of at least we know what caused the error and what to do about it now which is:

Sit and wait since the error has nothing to do with reinstalling or anything like that, it is not related to your PC what so ever.

This is a much better solution than recommending to someone: reinstall cause I do not know wtf is going on !

Apparently those still getting the 107 error is because their ISP is blocking access to PSO2 due to the DDOS attacks. If you have a VPN you should be able to get around the block, or hound your ISP to unblock PSO2 because the DDOS attacks are now over. At least that's what some people have done over here (scroll down to view the comments) with some success.

So either a VPN or contact isp. I tried a VPN (hotspot) and I doubt my isp will listen to me. Damn you error 107.
