Default Can you still play online?

Ok I haven't been on in awhile, and I noticed the servers I used to play on are dead now. Did everyone just stop playing PSO all together or did they migrate somewhere else? And is it even worth the hassle to find a new one?

Yes, you can still play online. Of course we can't really talk specifics here...

The server on which I play has been going through a rough patch and was down a lot in January. It seems fairly stable now, but the dedicated GameCube ships are still out of commission.

There's still a few people playing, but most people have simply moved on. You'll have better luck trying Blue Burst (even newer low end laptop with integrated GPU could handle it) if you want to be able to play with a lot of people. Either that, or take the plunge into PSO2 with with JP -> English patches. I was reluctant to switch at first, but now I'm loving it.

I would still be playing if my PC didn't die last year. Had a lvl 195 Racast at the time.

I hopped on my server just the other day. Not too many people on, but still, it's faithful to the original PSO for the most part, which I like. A few modifications here and there that make things more enjoyable.

I've been playing on this new one that seems to be super stable and has a slight increased exp rate, which is nice since I don't play too often, I can still get the full effect and experience of the game in less time.

I am looking for a GC one, just one with people playing on it that needs a Support/Healing Force.
