Added more USEFUL information to the main post.

    - In the lower section, I clarified why I prefer to assign Star/Sol Atomizer even when already using Resta/Anti (thanks Kayarine for making me think of doing this)
    - Clarified the sub-palette book01 slot 1 thing in a few sentences (thanks UnLucky)
    - Added FP behavior/explanation for Satellite Cannon and IlBarta usage.

Even after FP charging gets fixed, I might just go back to setting it to Megiverse spam. Or maybe Zanverse with wind tree, hmm...
Thanks for going out of your way to express gratitude!
I hope I didn't make you feel bad.

Il Foie may still be useful after FP gets fixed. We'll have to wait and see how it turns out.
There are still a few more new Techs on their way, too. They might end up being better than Il Foie.

Wow, my FP activates their PB like once a minute, it's crazy!

Also yeah they were using the wrong subpalette, so like all of my support techs weren't being used at all. Oops!

Oh, and to stay consistent with the EN Patch, the third dropdown labelled "Inclination" has the following:
    Healer
    Battle-Ready
    Guardian
    Fiery
    Savior
    Condition Master
    *Lovers
    PSO2 Trivia:
Crits are bad, m'kay? Buffs/Heals ignore equipment
20 Atk ≃ 1% damage Mass WB = Instant Win

Yeah, they seem to activate PB like crazy from Il Foie spam. Sometimes they use it a few seconds into a quest.
My guide also covers preferred PB setup, which is pretty useful (and not pointless like someone falsely insinuated).

I don't use the EN patch, so I don't know what they translated anything as.
There are several changes I know I disagree with. But it's not really my place to dispute, as I didn't directly contribute.
Anyway, in general, anything I write won't be "accurate" to the EN patch.
But the differences shouldn't be difficult to understand, I think.

Still, I'll update the main post with those alternatives, for clarity's sake.
Thanks for the suggestion, and I'm glad my guide helped you.

Japanese artist Katakya made a comic about the upcoming Friend Partner Il Foie nerf.

"They're beating enemies on their own! This is so nice and easy!"
*bug fix announcement*, in other words, "stop enjoying Meteo"

I was notified by a JP friend that they fixed the friend partner charging bug.

Tested it briefly. Il Foie now takes around 1.5 seconds to charge.
It still seems to be pretty effective, although obviously not as much as before.

Yeah. I read about this from the patch notes. I wonder if Il Foie is still the best attack. What about Il Megido?

Haven't tried it at all, yet. Lazy to update my bots.
Anything else noteworthy in the patch notes? I haven't looked.

I set up a full Dark Mastery + Poison + TATK bot, using Il Megid (rank 10).
Seems to hit for 800 to 2000? damage on each enemy in Nab2, up to two or three times per enemy.
Casting Il Megid seems a little faster than a 5/10 shorter casting time Il Foie.

So, potentially more damaging than Il Foie (which hits for 2k-3k at around rank 14-16, not full fire spec), and seems to have more range.
Poison doesn't seem to trigger often (even with Poison Boost). Not sure how much damage Poison ticks for.
If Il Foie triggers Burn, it seems to tick for around 3k damage.

These are the trees I'm using/thinking of using:

    Il Megid Friend Partner build:

I noticed a JP friend's Friend Partner uses Techer with Hunter subclass.
Force is only really for extra damage, whereas Hunter boosts survival by a lot:
    HP +150, -30% Tech damage and -40% Striking/Ranged damage.

I don't have an extra tree to try it with, though.

    ...
Why the hell didn't that cross my mind for my own support partner of my FO. Ever since I resetted my skill tree to go pure fire FO and wind/melee TE, both with FI sub, I haven't distributed the SP for HU (lv45 and was only leveled for lulz of the idea of a defensive sub).

Time to update my SP then.
