Spend 6000 AC to add 11 chips to the Scratch, then you have to spend another 2000 AC/30 Medals for a chance at getting at least one? That's pretty bad.

That's not quite how it works. The best way to explain it is that... you're building your own scratch. You pick 2 12* chips, and 8 11* chips. It creates a special scratch for you - basically from what you selected. Then its like any other scratch. You don't pay for this one, but if you are shooting for 12* chips, this is probably the best way to do it - 20% chance of getting a 12* chip. 80% chance of getting an 11*. Where it gets detrimental is that if you own every chip but a few, you're most likely picking chips you already have - most of the 11* chips don't benefit much from having a higher ability level.

No standard mix. The only chips in that scratch is what you pick. You only get to scratch for 1 chip, but you pick all of the potential outcomes, which is pointless if you own most of them.

Oh, okay. I think I get it now. Still pretty bad that it relies on RNG, but I guess you can use it on a character who doesn't have a lot of Weaponoids to get a free Weaponoid.

So it's better to save it for the Seraphy chip on 5/13~5/14

Very much so. And even then, we've had pretty much ever damage frame covered on the most recent chips, so even this Seraphy chip might not be worth it either, unless you need it for the ice.

definitely spent way too many rappy medals on that weaponoid carnival scratch, and still didn't get a single 12* from it. time to start rebuilding the stock pile for the 48 hour scratch in a couple weeks.
