i'm aware about the DDOS thing , and so after the server went off for almost all the foreigner player and so people are using VPN's and tunnel's stuff now to connect to the game ;

but tonight i launched the last tweaker with a few friend and all was back to ONLINE ....

so my question is pretty simple : are VPN / tunnels still needed ?

do i risk a ban of my account if i connect without jp vpn ?

- The servers are up, no more DDoS
- If you can connect, you don't need a VPN, they won't ban you
- If you can't connect, it's because of your ISP and not SEGA (NTT US being lazy fucks). Then only you could use a VPN/Amazon EC2 or some other shits to reach the servers.

adding to this, its possible that given enough time (at least some of) the people that currently cannot connect may be able to again in the future, its also possible that they will never be able to again without a vpn or similar. we wont know for certain for quite a while yet so if you cant connect right now and dont want to use a method to like the amazon thing or a paid vpn then you have the option of waiting.

I got error code 249 , i guess i will need the amazon thing finally :/
