Bouncer Class Discussion

Howdy neighbourinos,

Picked up bouncer again a couple weeks back, wondering what the meta is for dual blades. I'm seeing a fair few bouncers not doing what I do, which makes me wonder if I'm doing it 'wrong', or they are.

PA-wise (ignoring PBF for now), I use Distraction Wing to close (if I'm not already close enough), Heavenly Kite to build gear, then crafted Kestrel Rampage for damage. I throw in the odd Dispersion Shrike for mobbing, though both that and Kestrel Rampage do the job for gear building too.

Looking good or needs work?

Sounds ok tbh, i guess if you're going for absolutely top DPS, throw in some Jet Boots when Rapid Boost is up.

I've only just gotten a decent set of boots (Nemesis-NT), but haven't had the chance to affix or grind them yet. I'm sure I'll be back to check in with those when I do.

It's good to loop blade throw and distract wing outside of PBF as well. Kestral is alright, but shouldn't be relied on too much outside of a quick burst or tagging multiple enemies. It'll be way easier on your PP as well.
The power boost for non-gear 3 PAs next week will be nice for it too

If they're gonna boost the power levels do you think it'll change the effect slightly at gear 1 as if the PA was in gear 2? or just a damage boost across the board while leaving maximum power output the exact same? I wanna see kestral type-0s blades always extended lolol

havent played BO for over a year now I think and I cant remember the thing with JB's, was it better to Affix S or T atk to them with Strike Switch on? I don't plan to use Techs with them outside few niche moments.

Switch Strike makes S-ATK the dominant stat, so you use S-ATK affixes. However, thanks to the recent change to Bouncer MAG allowing BO to now get dual stats out of a DEX MAG, it's now viable to affix for T-ATK Boots and play hybrid Boots/DBs as long as your Units are affixed for All ATK. S-ATK build is still the most straightforward, but T-ATK Boots are cheaper to affix for (although All ATK Units might not be, unless you already have Hero Units affixed).

To add on a bit, you get more mileage from a SAtk build, because of SAtk-ups on your sub tree.

The new 14* Jet Boots powers up Elemental Burst and causes it to automatically activate whenever you use a PA.

Elemental burst is really strong for what it does and has a high SE proc rate though... Having it trigger constantly while doing PAs sounds amazing.
