VPN Required?

I remember last time I tried the JP version, I didn't need a VPN to play, just the English patches and game itself installed. Is a Japan VPN required to play the game now like the SEA version?

That depends on your ISP, and the route it uses.

If you can access the official site, then you don't need to use a proxy or VPN.

Using Xfinity/Comcast, and from the U.S. x.x needed the VPN to get on the site, back when I used Fios, I could just go on and not worry about VPNs.
