That counts as a regular Panic? Never knew that.

Should yeah, I know Hu/Fis with Panic swords benefit from it, I'm not sure how high a wand smack would do, but, if you maxed chase like some Hu/Fi, it should be damn good.

wait chase damage procs on drunken vibras, burned apprentice type of downs?
i thought those were considered "special downs" or "special wounds" and didn't count for chase damage proc
    mid-bosses with statuses did tho

chase advance swiki write-up has this:
    身体全体の色が変わるビブラスやマリューダ、ジグモルデなどは通常の状態異常と錯覚しないよう注意(彼らも 特殊やられの部類であるのでチェイス無効である)
    roughly translated as:
Way as for biburasu and mariyuda and jigumorude etc where, color of the whole body changes it does not misunderstand with usual state abnormality note (because they are category of uniqueness doing, chase it is invalid)

i think a panic sword would work in terms of inflicting that special down with panic affixes added to the base chance of a light sword or base+pot(if applies status), but chase skill added damage would not apply. it will usually be a wb'ed weakspot normally anyways so the damage would be nice regardless

jumping dodge up to vibras core and wand-smaking it would be pretty awesome tho either case

With the nerf of Raptor what is looking like the best bossing tool on the hunter side for Te/Hu? I know holding current is good but bosses seem to be so mobile now so I'm exploring other options. Sometimes chasing a boss around a room with a wand gets exhausting lol, so preferably a weapon that can also provide mobility too...

I was kinda thinking sword. Guilty Break all over the place, get bite up and then just whatever is good.

We'll have to see how much of a nerf it is, but TE's bossing options will be nerfed across the board anyway(caught in the nerf crossfire of all the other classes).Besides wand melee with a solid endgame wand already deals more than Volg with Gungnata and other HU sub options anyway)..
So I guess TE/HU will be same old, just with a weaker zanverse

form wand s-atk affix lean is best te/hu bossing currently
there are even some s-rank solo pd vids with it, although it barely makes the 12min mark
it has good mobility with ilzonde/safoie-0 the later even giving it vertical movement too along with optional jumping dodge ring
step ja ring helps a lot for its tempo too

with zanverse nerf form wand only gets better in comparison to others as it loses nothing and can spend the extra sp into atk-ups and/or dark mastery for ramegid-0 damage
lavis is of course the king as we just all saw in that hnh vid, but thats lavis..

mesetan shooter can make cc really fast and reliably now and rare illusia triggers are available until 7/26 iirc in casino shop
there is even boost day on 7/2 to organize trigger parties

yeah chase don't work on stuff unless the status effect symbol appears in the enemy info thing. I think the only enemy with a large minimap icon that can get a status effect on it for chase is Persona.

still, wand gear element's status effect rate can help out on elements that your tech mods have destroyed the status effect odds on, everybody benefits from a shocked deadleon/gruzoras or poison'd quartz/ex

So what is the easiest way to brute force farm a form scythe? I'm eager to try it out...but the deadlio grosser looks pretty sweet too...no knockback? I mean come on.

form wand is unique in that its pot basically adds a 3rd damage tick from its projectile, making the 3 hits: normal+gear+projectile more in combination than a higher atk and damage pot wand that only has 2 hits (normal and gear) alone

there are a couple of ways to farm it:
    1. riding quest (says from riding quest itself and illusia 71+ can drop)
    2. illusia in rain eq and probably in current lq have chance of dropping it
    3. my fav: grind mesetan shooter with a friend then buy vegas triggers and do them during rdr like after magatsu/yamato or 7/2 special boost day
rainbow coins give 20cc to each person for each person picking them up so if you have 4/4 and 4 people pick up 1 coin, then every person gets 80 coins for just 1!! if joker x2 bonus then its 160 each, so even outside of bursts/neo-bursts you can make 5k for the trigger in very short time

also when you farming illusia in any manner, being te main does help with wand drops. obviously any 13 can drop, but any more chance to get the wand is worth it

the knockback that deadleon wand covers are fairly specific, swiki page has all the details:
    http://pso2.swiki.jp/index.php?%E3%8...83%80%E3%83%BC

that coupled with low damage % pot, massive hunter and zein/cliff wand being a much better alternative kind of makes it not worth it imo
