Makes me wonder what sort of nonsense you could pull with an all Cast party. Advance recon tactics? Switching ammo, barrels, or blades off of someone's back? Use one of them like an oversized tripod for your oversized gun? The possibilities.

Are you saying I should pick less catchy songs next time so they won't distract you so much? I've definitely gone in a more jazzy direction with the music lately. The reason simply being that there are more lighthearted moments compared to my previous story, so I need more lighthearted music to match. Jazz is a pretty good fit most of the time (at least I think so).

The Clo-bot was programmed to respond to commands. However, as Dr. Rauth mentioned earlier, it had a few bugs and didn't always work properly. Hence the mix-up that led to the big chase...

You thought it was going to be a one-off "here's what everyone else is doing" type of thing? Nah, this was always supposed to be its own story. I had three reasons for writing this chapter. Three plot-related reasons, anyway. I can't be more specific without giving away spoilers, so you'll just have to wait until the next part~

2.4 on page 64

Something that seems pretty universally true in art is, a piece should be as long as you feel it needs to be. I like composing songs between 2-5 minutes for instance, but if I force it to a certain length it just doesn't sound as good. I think one of my songs, Bananigans, may have been better if it was just a 30 second loop. But I stretched it out too long.
But, maybe things would be best on a certain length. A silly movie shouldn't be much longer than an hour and a half, and an epic movie should be longer than two hours to really go over everything that's happening all over the land.

I love the ending to all this. It felt like you were repeating everything to re-set the mood for an epic showdown...then Selena came around with a healthy dose of reality.
I love Delfoy's and Selena's relationship. I'll keep saying it. Their open lust is very refreshing.

Aw~ even though Luna ruined it, that was probably the most invested I've ever been in a proposal.

Hm. Well, I hope you have something fun set up for Luna in the future if you're giving her this much money.
Which, again, I'm sure translates to something along the lines of around $200.

I'm with Yoshi. When I saw the raffle winnings, I fully expected that to be immediately lost back to the hotel. I'm glad to have my expectations subverted, but I love punchlines that are all buildup and no payoff like that.
I like the touch of you acknowledging our expectations and making us feel silly for it. What we thought was going to be the entire check ended up being a tiny amount of it. At least nobody got in trouble from the issues they've caused.

Oh~ Yoshi brings up a good point. Most people who get rich quick like this just as quickly lose their money. I somehow feel that that's not what's going to happen with this story, but I'm expecting something good.

I'm reading through my old chapters. I'm glad to see that at least sometimes I'm well spoken. I said that I had a lot of catching up to do, and...I think I'm almost there? I can't be too far back.

I want to point out that I still have not gotten into the habit of trying to write daily. Which you could probably guess.

I never did answer you about this, so, this is what I was talking about with the bubbles situation.

I think we see campships quite often, and they don't have much room. Just the pre-mission area, and the cockpit. It's a pretty short, square ship. So I think in most situations, it'll be just big enough for the group of four.

Ha, I'm just now realizing I still don't know who the darker controller is.

Naval combat reminds me of Skies of Arcadia. It's a fairly typical RPG for the most part, but important battles take place on the ship. Having these grand, climactic situations take place on ships that house dozens of people each has a grander scope than a small group of hardened combatants taking out a tough opponent.
I should Let's Play Skies of Arcadia.

Yay, you're finally caught up! I'm almost ready to start releasing the next chapter. It won't be this weekend, but maybe next weekend. At worst, it'll be the weekend after that. I've been writing every day but this next chapter is fairly long, so it's taking me a while to get through it. I'm really excited for it, though. I've had a lot of fun writing it so far!

Glad you still enjoy Selena and Delfoy's relationship. Since they both survived all the crazy stuff I threw at them, I figured it was time they settled down and made it official. So, that was one of the three main plot things I included in that chapter. The second plot thing was Rho and Selena getting over Aki03's death. I wanted to show that it was still affecting them. But together, I think they'll be able to move on. The third plot thing was Luna winning all that money, which is definitely going to come up later, in some ways you'd expect and others you probably wouldn't.

Not to worry, you're always well spoken, and I always enjoy reading your comments.

I played Skies of Arcadia a long time ago. Never finished it, though. It was one of those things where I got busy and never got back to it. Maybe I should, someday.

P.S. From page 64 to 71 without a single new story update? I think that's a record in this thread!

Skies is one of my top five favorite turn based RPGs. It's one of the few late RPGs that takes what makes early RPGs good and expands on that, instead of getting rid of a lot of it. But it also does everything late RPGs does well, such as great visuals and story. The ending is great, too. And man, Fina~

Since I was so busy responding, I was able to take over your thread and give it plenty of content without you having to update the story. I guess that's what being a year behind does.

Ya dun et! Gratz. I also didn't know Nistolgia Critic had memes. I also like to imagine the campship is a pretty big vessel. I wouldn't feel too bad about the writing though. Just gotta be on a mission I guess to pump stuff out weekly. Like doing a Nanowrimo. Taking your time is fine too, since it allows you to think on it and add extra stuff you thought was funny.
