This guy who private messaged me on PSO2 claimed that break stance is better than elemental stance as a fi/bo. Break stance is better on bo/hu because of d stance bonus you get damage even when parts are broken but with fi/bo with break stance once you break parts rip dmg. You no longer get that break stance bonus dmg as fi/bo since there is no d bonus. However you always do damage with elemental stance as long as your weapon matches the elemental weakness of the enemy. Elemental stance is more of a general use stance if you have rainbow weapons.

Fi/bo builds are typically better with elemental stance because fi/bo is more of a craft build unless you have the 12* hyakka right. I mean on the bo tree you get an additional 10% dmg on your crafted weapon if you have that skill. So if it has 1000 atk you get 100 more.

This guy claims that bio is better than granfol and i said listen are you a retard? 95% crit build at 13% + 100 s atk+ from that skill or so on granfol vs bios 8% and less at +10 atk.. This guy is delusional because this is not true lol. I think any fi/bo person can back me up on this claim. Of course there are dbs better than granfol now but I'm just saying this is what this guy said lol. Crafted Granfols and any weapon with fighter is expensive but its worth it. I just thought it was funny this guy said that bio's were better.

I laughed at this guy and ended the conversation right there. This was a team leader too, he doesn't even have a fi/bo to begin with he has a bo/hu and tried to make this argument. Bo/hu and Fi/bo are much different from each other in terms of trees.

I used to think Break Stance was good because I thought it continued working on a break point after you broke it(E.G. broken Ragne's leg), but as it turns out, this is not the case 99.99% of the time. The only exceptions in the game, I believe, are Dark Falz Loser's arms and Vol Dragon's tail.
