Is the English Patch working?

So I finally got the game working then in-game almost everything is still in Japanese.

The menus before I get my player are pure Japanese and even the menus in-game are in Japanese.

In fact I'm not sure what isn't in Japanese.

Can someone clarify what specifically the patch is supposed to alter, because I'm not sure I'll be able to play very well like this.

Are you sure you've applied the patch? If you're using the Tweaker, make sure you've hit the orb, and gone to "Install/Update Patches." The "English Patch" translates pretty much everything that is need to be able to play the game on the most basic level; the "English Large Files" adds some extra, no-essential things like some NPC chatter and the like; the "English Story Patch" translates (most of ) the story dialogue of the game, primarily cutscenes.

Thanks! That seems to have been what I overlooked!

BUT I just found another thing untranslated- not sure what it is or what caused it:

As soon as Afin and I get to a planet's surface he says:

"Good to see you, partner!"

"Alright, let's go!"

Then I have two choices, both in Japanese:



Did I miss an option somewhere?

EDIT: Top one seems to be along the lines of "Yes, continue the tutorial."
