Yes, I would be worried if someone uses redran burst on trash mob. I may have exaggerated but redran can die by accident if you don't keep an eye on its health bar (magatsu skull and such).
Jumping dodge can keep it from harms way if you have a space on subpallet.

I still prefer wanda/torim for mobbing because click to win. Redran hardly outshines them without a lot of PA combination and camera management which can become tiring after 30 minutes.

Well I'm talking about using Redran in situations like the LQ or upcoming EQ mainly. TD would be be a bit different, but it's not like I'm talking about using Redran for everything all the time.

The damage per kill personality can be handy from time to time, but I doubt it is good practice to stick around one redran to keep the kill bonus.
Redred has weak autoattack and low regain. It has good burst potential but falls off in prolonged fight due to high PP cost.
It also has the worst defense in all pets and can die easily while charging burst, which forces you to switch pet or wait for respawn.

This is why you stack it to hell with stuff that both reduces its PP usage and increase its PP regen, which makes Zeitaku Parfait and Migawari Roll a must for that pet.

PS: Technically didn't find Redran Laser any different than when Homing Emission was the bestest DPS for RA.

Speaking of the PP rolls. I'm more than a bit miffed that you can't trade 2017 badges for them. I need like 3 more and I don't want to do UQs.

I never did anything with my 2016 badges, sitting on like 5k of them...

But yeah, I guess they justify that with new parfaits. Which is fine by me to be honest, small critical boom personally, it's fun trying to come up with a 100% crit pet box, and it seems doable with Crit Field ring.

In theory you can get around 98% constant crit rate on SuBr.

Base=5%
Crit Stick*4=28%
Sympathy Roll*2=20%
Crit Ring=20%
Stance Crit=25%

Or 96% (103%) on FiSu

Base=5%
Crit Stick*3/4=21%/28%
Sympathy Roll*2=20%
Crit Strike=15%
Effort Ring=10%
Stance Crit=25%

Don't know how practical these builds are.

If the crit parfait had a higher multiplier it might be worth it, but 10% means you'd basically have to build entirely around it for a different parfait to not be better, and by that point you might as well just use something else anyway. :/

I'd sacrifice Kiai for Hissatsu on a Redran. It's 2% higher in crit if you can pull 90%+. If you don't care about your PP going to hell, Kiai + Hissatsu for 10% more damage period.

Any other pets besides a Redran and it's questionable on doing a crit build, but because of that dragon's box, it can be pulled off. Assuming you go to left layout, it's 21% crit right there. (Or 9% damage resist to any damage. Or 15 PP.)
