    It works like a guard so you take damage if you get hit from the side or back I think. Also if the pet dies while you're guarding with it you take damage from that hit I think.

    Melon (the black and green one) is the one that can be thrown repeatedly, I got their names mixed up in my last post. :U It has so little hp that blocking a boss attack would probably get it killed, even at max level. Might be a good idea to stack body sandwiches on it.

    EDIT: Also, with a single resilient roll Melon recovers in like 10-12 seconds. = w=

    I confirmed that the damage they take from exploding won't hurt you during alter ego, but the damage they take while blocking can.

    I would've thought Maron would be the one with massive HP.

    Wonder how much abuse it needs to take for max explosion damage.

    I'm about to test it, but I think it's based off the number of hits, not the damage, for both of them. There's 3 or 4 charge levels for their explosions, and Melon seems to go up a level each time its hit, wheras Maron needs multiple hits to go to the next level. I've seen my Maron get to max charge while being grazed by trash mobs, then had it tank Ringah's tornado attack and it didn't even start glowing despite losing 70% of its health.

    EDIT: alright, yeah, it's based off the number of hits, not the damage and there's 3 charge levels if you include no charge. Melon goes up one charge each time its hit, so it only takes 2 hits to get it to max charge. Maron goes up a charge every 3 hits, so it takes 6 hits to get it to max. Also they only seem to automatically explode at max charge. You can tell they're at max because of the fire effect on them. If they have just the glow then they're only at one charge level.

    How long does it take them to self-destruct once they're at max charge?

    Hoping it's long enough to use them to block Nyau. then blow up the bosses he summons.

    Feels like around 10-15 seconds. Either way I don't think it'd be enough to last all the way from Nyau's tantrum to the next boss.

    I just noticed before maintainanced happened, there was no entry of Maron on Visphone. Have they mentioned that Maron isn't tradeable?

    It's kind of lame that dead quests are the only places you can get higher rarity Maron/Melon when EQs aren't going.

    People pretty much never run UQs outside of weekends and boost weeks on ship 6.

    I didn't see any in my ship so RIP. As for the Ultimates, i really hope that boost next week would bring back MPAs. Kinda annoying that you would have to wait for random/scheduled falz to get them, not to mention RNG.
