I keep getting the black screen at training mission for the new character

I'll be resorting to the uncouth japanese gibberish launcher since despite ensuring I'm not using english patches or plugins, I still get to the beginning and end of the universe when I want to be in the middle.

Team mates say it works for them.

EDIT: Works when you break pso2 with the official launcher.

I got mine to go away I turned proxy off did the check for deleted/empty files as well as the old and missing files I also did both check for update and it has let me play

This is distressing, I cant play I just get a black screen. Hopefully Aida will come to our recue soon

did you remove english patch ?
It fixed the black screen prob for me but I get the DC error when i try to log in

Yeah I did, if I pick ep 1-3 it just stays on infinite tunnel, and ep 4 crashes when I try to load the first mission where you go to a planet. Guess PSO is out of the question for a while.

When the other episodes came out how long did it take for the patches to all work etc, does anyone remember?

This makes me appreciate how hard Aida and the team have worked and what they do to make this playable for the fans, I think once this is sorted out a paypal donation is in order for them!
