Exclamation Tier 6 Graphics Custom Anti-Aliasing Profile (Nvidia Inspector)

    From Lavendy's site (in Japanese):
    https://lavendy.net/pso2es/custom-profile-s6/

That page said they were in the middle of testing it, back in March.
I don't know if there's an updated version.

    Fullscreen
    Windowed/Virtual Fullscreen/Borderless Window

Did some testing. It allows for anti-aliasing without losing the tier 6 shadows.
I noticed that hair textures may appear a little glitchy (strange streaks).
If so, simply set the Ambient Occlusion Compatibility to 0x0000000.

So, why use this? Because the default anti-aliasing is jaggy as hell.
This should allow you to get better anti-aliasing. You can also use SGSSAA and all that crap.

For those unfamiliar with using Nvidia Inspector, here's the original thread with more info.

Edit: Turn off Blur in the game setting options, or else you'll get some weird visual glitches. Once you turn Blur on, you'll need to restart client to fix the glitches.
You may also need to update to the latest Nvidia drivers.

    Doesn't work for me.

That's because the lighting/shadowing issue is caused by SLI, not by the anti aliasing settings. Not sure if there's a solution here. It randomly jumps between working and not working while SLI is enabled.

I don't use SLI. I had light/shadow vanish if I used the old profiles.
The one I posted above works with proper shadows for me. SGSSAA works too but I can't stand the bluriness.

SLI might be a separate incompatibility issue.

does this fix the hair not getting anti-alised during the tier 6 demo?

The setting proposed here, I don't know but NVidiaInspector definately does it.

Strange. What profile did you guys use? When I use it (with SLI disabled) I still have glitchy lighting & shadows.

Yeah, I'm curious too. I'm having the same issues as Zyrusticae.

If you're talking about the very visible lighting effect around your character, moving with you like on this screenshot:

Then it's coming from an in-game setting.
Option -> Video Settings -> Display Setting

Set Camera Lighting to 0 and it'll be gone.

Also make sure in game Blur and Anti-Aliasing are off.

SLI compatibility bits seems to be "0x02C12005".
No idea if that actually works, as I don't have SLI. I dunno if Lavendy has SLI either.

Thanks, Arada. Everything seems to be working great now.
