    Default Fan-Works Forums

What are the official rules to the Fan Works forums?

I see a thread which serves as an introduction to literary writing; however, I see no actual thread of rules.
Is the limit only Phantasy Star related, or can personal original works be put in there?

I wanted to know what I can and can not write in there (beyond the obvious of course), along with formats for the future.
As of Sunday, I am leaving for Madrid, Spain on a vacation for a week.
I will be away from the forums, but can still read the site.

Works unrelated to Phantasy Star are acceptable in Fan Works. As far as the maturity of content goes, the loose rule is that this is a PG-13 forum; it's not a place for obscene or outright pornographic material, but don't be afraid to explore mature subjects.

I'd recommend that, as a courtesy, if your fan work is unrelated to Phantasy Star, then you should make it clear, what the source material is.

I tend to write for Teenagers to Adults.
My stories are strong, but not pornographic but deal with heavy themes.
    Stories tend to be Fiction-T 13+, Fiction-T 16+ and Fiction-MA 18+ in rating.

I use the Literature Content Rating System in Forum Boards and in stories due to case law that exists against individuals who tried to bring judgement upon literary works through the use of the Motion Picture Content Rating System and lost big. The reason I have to actually say that some of my stories are Fiction-MA 18+ is due to the law being exclusive on content. This means if a single instance of extreme content exists in a book of any arbitrary size that would categorize it a Fiction-MA 18+ rating, even if its a single page or paragraph; Content under one instance causes the entire work to fall under such a rating.

I guess what I am asking here now is what the literary content rating is going to be when PSO-2 is rated CERO C (15 and up).

    Thank you for the reply.
Just looking for clarity and limits.

Fiction-T is probably most appropriate for PSO-World, but Fiction-M is acceptable. Fiction-MA crosses the line.

    Oh boy, heavy themes!
I don't need a signature pic, I would end up changing it all the time.
