TUNER
A class that specializes in crowd control. Typically uses drones to set various traps, and uses photon whips for self-defense. Can use techs but not compounds.
Weapons : Drone gloves, Photon whip
Drone gloves (R-ATK) : Self-explanatory : equip the gloves, have little drones near you : PAs would mix moving drones directly for long-range strikes and setting drones for various effects (turret-type shooting, gravity/weakening field) .You can get up to 3 different drones up and recall them with shift action and reposition them while keeping gear up. Gear would raise the longer drones are set and each gear level makes them more and more powerful. Once gear is completely filled gear resets. Each drone has its own increase gear rate, and those rates add up, meaning you'd have to choose carefully which/how many drones to deploy and when to recall them to maximize lv 3 gear uptime.
PA examples
-Drone arrow : self explanatory send a piercing drone forward.
-Buzzing whirl : calls two drones to turn around you and deal damage : basic dron-ey Gifoie if you'd like
Zalure applier : Set-type drone : Sets a zone in which every monster takes up more damage. raises as Gear level rise (prolly stg like 15% > 25% > 40%)
-Satellite striker : Set-type drone : sets a drone in the sky that does literally nothing. Once gear is completely filled, drone releases a powerful AoE from above.
Photon whip: A whip (not a wired lance) That has the unique ability to store photons and release them in the form of elemental attacks (obv would scale on T-ATK). Unlike drones, it would be a versatile weapon to deal with situations where it would be too hard to charge/use drones effectively. You'd have a few neutral PAs that align with your element weapon, and elemental PAs that have their own element regardless of weapon's element. Each of the normals and PA have a "sweetspot" a "normal" and a "dead angle" distance, first one resulting in a lot more damage and special effects, second one being "normal" and "dead angle" being weaker. Gear increases each time your hit a sweetspot with a PA and boosts ONLY tech damage (20% > 35% > 50%). slowly decreases naturally, and you lose a chunk of it for hitting dead angles. Shift action sets your whip to the element corresponding to latest charged technique used, and shifting again resets it to keep default element
Example for PAs
-Double Slash : neutral PA : two slashes in front of you. sweetspot at mid-distance, raw damage increase
-Blitz Whip :Lightning PA rolls the whip around your hand and lounges for an unrefined gut punch. Sweetspot is point blank range : stuns + shocks the enemy along with damage bonus.
-A.Zero Shower : throws your whip upwards at a long distance while backstepping, creating an orb in the air that creates a lasting ice dagger rain expanding in a cone fashion. Sweetspot is the dead center of the cone that has a perfect 100% freeze rate and topples enemies, and damage falls off as you reach the exterior of it
-Endless Maelstrom : (wind) creates a tornado that quickly moves forward while growing. Sweetpsot is when tornado reaches maximum size, gaining more damage and a suction effect
