They did say that Saiki is still going to be relevant; the 12* units do blow away the stats clean on the saiki, but not quite the Ofstia units. However, the content incoming isn't so off balance that it would necessitate the 12* units.

I was about to give up at one point then 150% RDR week happened. Then I met 4 Illusias in one run at 100%
Well, 60 ele Form Scythe is a game changing weapon, so I'm kinda okay with the horrible rate.

2's good enough. that will get you to 40 element, and after that you can just +1 your way with 2016 badges (and hoping that eventually we get an npc who gives us 13* wands instead of ds)
