    Default PSO2 Assisting tools

    Hello !
    I'm Soraiko, a new user of PSO-world.
I joined this forum in order to share a special tool I made for PSO2.
A tool allowing to scan the chat log instantanly during the game and study one by one the quotes of your Japanese friends. (Kanjis, Katakanas, words, transliteration...) in order to have the better translation possible of what they say.
I made this tool because one day, I had an important and long discussion with friends, but without success because they were speaking japanese and using lots of kanjis.

There is two things to know about my tool:
-It does NOT access PSO2's memory and so, is NOT detected as a hack by Gameguard. It only reads the chatlog textfile in your MyDocuments folder.
-According to your security panel settings, the application may flash the famous dark security screen of windows to ask you permission to execute, which will make DirectX's thread freeze and then, PSO2 generate an exception code. Insure that the app is already open before to launch PSO2, or change your security panel settings.

Here is the tool: "PSO2Bennkyou" (Download link under the picture)

[PS: Actually my level in japanese is quite correct, but knowing only 50-60 kanjis, I struggle to understand my japanese friends.]

Well, I certainly did not expect to see you here, though I should have known from the signs from your youtube channel.

    Welcome.

Huh. This seems pretty cool. I like the study thing it has going on in the screenshot.
I see it has caught the EQ message as well, does it capture NPC dialogue too?

If the NPC dialog is saved in the chat log files, it does. Otherwise you'll have to copy paste what the NPCs say and click the button "Start study from clipboard".
