Considering the PSU event hasn't even finished Part 2, and they have a Part 3 coming soon (Laia is probably gonna get an NPC, maybe Hyuga?), I wouldn't assume they'd just throw the whole serie's Anniversary under the bus right away.

I've been wanting items based on the original four games since the start, they're my favorites next to PSU. I'd love some actual Alis Landale and Lutz outfits.

Don't see the problem with that. It's always nice to get older games' outfits.

My point, cosmetics and make do content, if you like it that's cool but that's nothing noteworthy in terms of actual design.

I mean, what are they supposed to do? I'm imagining another LQ like Gal Gryphon's where they recreated the boss room and boss fight from PSO Episode 2, a neat scratch, and maybe NPCs from older games, there's not much else that can actually happen without demanding more resources and development time.
